“After battling with my own self esteem, mental disorders, and what led to many years of substance abuse, I learned just how interconnected these issues are. I came out of active addiction with little to no confidence left. I found it hard to see any worth or beauty within myself. I learned very quickly how important it is to find a way to regain love for oneself. My goal is for Heroine Studios to be one of those places where women can find that in themselves again. I want to help women see themselves as they truly are, a real life Heroine in all of their beauty. All paid services from the general public go toward providing photography services for women in recovery. Your support is greatly appreciated.”

“May I become at all times, both now and forever, a protector of those without protection, a guide for those who have lost their way, a ship for those with oceans to cross, a bridge for those with rivers to cross, a sanctuary for those in danger, a lamp for those without light, a place of refuge for those who lack shelter, and a servant to all in need, for as long as space endures, and for as long as living beings remain. Until then may I, too, abide to dispel the misery of the world” -Shanti Deva Prayer
